The Anchor and Media Host course, delivered by instructors Marius Pancu, Nadina Câmpean, Olivia Păunescu, Ana-Maria Gheorghe, Sergiu Cora, and Aurelian Ciocan, is designed to prepare you to become the face and voice of a television or digital program. You will acquire the key skills of presenting and learn how to communicate effectively with a broad audience.

You will be guided by industry professionals who will teach you how to perform confidently in front of the camera, convey information with clarity and assurance, and handle unexpected situations such as breaking news. Whether you are in a news studio, hosting a talk show, or conducting a high-profile interview, this course equips you with the expertise to manage the demands of live media environments.

The program also focuses on developing the unique skills specific to media hosts and moderators, helping you build a strong personal brand that meets the evolving standards of both television and digital media—now and in the future.

What You Will Master

Introduction to TV Presenting: You will learn the responsibilities and expectations of a presenter, across formats such as news, talk shows, entertainment, and sports programs.

Communication Techniques and Diction: You will develop clear and persuasive speaking skills, practice voice improvement exercises, and learn methods for managing performance anxiety.

Body Language and On-Camera Presence: You will learn how to use non-verbal language, how to gesture appropriately, and how to maintain eye contact to engage your audience.

Preparation and Presentation of Content: You will learn how to read naturally from a teleprompter and improvise when facing unforeseen situations.

Voice Control and Intonation: You will refine your ability to use intonation and adapt your voice to maintain audience interest, regardless of the type of program.

Interviewing and Moderation Skills: You will learn how to prepare and conduct engaging interviews, and how to manage live discussions.

News Presentation and Scriptwriting: You will learn how to present news with objectivity and professionalism, and how to write concise and effective scripts.

Style and Personal Image: You will discover how to build an authentic personal image (personal brand), from proper on-camera attire to makeup and hairstyle.

Live Broadcasting Techniques and Stress Management: You will learn how to handle crisis situations and maintain composure during live transmissions.

Practical Project and Feedback: You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in practice and receive personalized feedback to improve your performance.
